Balancing our beliefs and desires is an ever acting characteristic in a humans life, we strive do this all the time.

Speaking to you as someone who’s struggled, at times, with his faith and his urges as a man, I believe I have a unique perspective on how the two fit together.

It is natural to strive to stand firm in what we believe and for most Christian men, staying within the boundaries of the church is essential for their experience of love.

Sex during marriage only is one of those boundaries.

Some pick up lines are unbecoming, boring and rude.

How many times have we heard cheesy pick up lines like:

“Nice shoes. Wanna bang?”

“Your name must be Gillet, because you’re the best a man can get.”

“Your daddy must have been a thief, because he stole the stars and put them in your eyes.”

Using a line like these will get you nowhere with a woman fast, chances are she will not even speak to you.

Because pick of lines such as these, which are bad get too much attention, while encouraging others to consider that all pick up lines are worthless.

Today, as the world celebrates Valentines Day the air is filled with love. It is only proper that we talk about this word love in the next few days. Hence let us explore the meaning and the depth of the word itself. In order to fully understand it we have to turn to the source of love, God himself as expressed in the Bible.

It seems the biggest concern my students deal with is their presumption of being too ugly to attract women.

Their insecurity comes from their various aspects and natures, such as some of them think they may be too:

Some men think they are too old.

They could be too fat.

Some think they’re too short.

Some men think they are too ugly.

These men feel as if they are in a weak position, when it comes to attracting the women they desire, because of these.

However, it is not true.
