This is a couple activity made to identify and discuss how your relationship compares to other couples, eg your friends. In comparing your relationship with others, you’ve got the chance to identify the strengths of your relationship together with areas that may need attention.
A very important result of this straightforward activity is to become aligned in your relationship goals. By identifying areas of relationship weakness you will have a chance to strengthen these areas.
Step 1. Individually take a piece a paper and put down the names of 4 different couples that you both know fairly well. Next write down 4 different couples that you both know but are not as familiar with;

Why is committment harder for males than females? The difference is essentially due to how we learn their social roles of being men and women. It happens thru learning one’s gender from very complicated sociological processes throughout a person’s life. For example defined roles for men dictate that they should act with caution and humour when the word marriage enters into talks, especially so with other men.

From the moment we are placed in the cot our heads are filled with tales and ventures which exist only in ‘far away places’. This introduction in life, should be sufficient to tell us the preceding tale is pure fantasy; but we are young, naive, full of imagination, and led to believe that if we are fortunate enough, one day, we too will be in a relationship and live ”happily ever after”.
The concept of a bedtime story is good for plenty of reasons it promote family time the youngsters are quiet it helps in the understanding of language and is generally a much better alternative option to the plethora of screen-entertainment that’s on offer for the new generation.
